![]() Workshop on Exotic Physics with Neutrino Telescopes
Uppsala, Sweden, September 20-22, 2006 description and aims
the workshop aims at discussing the physics, signatures, experimental techniques, existing results and perspectives of using existing and planned large-area neutrino telescopes for 'exotic' physics topics. i.e. topics beyond point source searches. These include searches for WIMPS, Simpzillas, Kaluza-Klein modes, monopoles, micro black holes, lorentz invariance tests, q-balls, nuclearites, new (or deviations of) neutrino interactions at UHEs... etc organization
we intend to have a few review talks by theorists/phenomenologists on the topics mentioned above, and a series of contributed talks by experiments and individuals working on the topics of the workhsop. The presentations should center on discusing existing results, expected signatures and sensitivities of future facilities, analysis techniques and existing Monte Carlos. venue
the workshop will take place in the Ångström laboratory which houses the physics departments of Uppsala University (map of location) More information on how to reach the laboratory can be found under the 'travel' link on the left menu. |
